Lakes Aquarium – Multi-Zone Audio System
A complete background audio installation across the aquarium and café — enhancing visitor experience with dynamic soundscapes, wireless microphones, and seamless control.
Project Overview
Soundsmith were commissioned by Lakes Aquarium to deliver a flexible multi-zone audio system designed to enrich the visitor journey. The system provides ambient soundscapes throughout exhibit areas, as well as dedicated zones for live talks and interactive presentations.
Wireless headset microphones were supplied for staff-led sessions, allowing presenters to move freely while maintaining clear, consistent sound coverage across multiple sections of the venue.
In addition, a dedicated background music system was installed in the café area, giving staff easy control of playback volume and source for a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.
