Soundsmith has supported the Victoria Wood Theatre, previously known as The Old Laundry Theatre, over a number of years with AV upgrades designed to improve projection, audio performance and production flexibility.
The works included a complete NEXO PA system upgrade, three high-powered laser projectors for theatrical production, and a professional live streaming system built around Panasonic PTZ cameras, Blackmagic ATEM equipment and production monitoring.
The result is a more flexible venue technology platform supporting live performance, presentations, streaming, recorded content and future productions.

NEXO Audio, Laser Projection & Networked Production
NEXO PA System
A complete NEXO sound reinforcement system was supplied and installed, improving coverage, clarity and overall sound quality throughout the venue.
Laser Projection
Three high-powered laser projectors were supplied for theatre production, providing bright and consistent visuals for a demanding performance environment.
Panasonic PTZ Camera System
The streaming system included Panasonic PTZ cameras and dedicated control, giving the theatre flexible camera coverage for performances and events.
ATEM Streaming Workflow
Blackmagic ATEM production equipment, camera inputs and monitoring were integrated to support live streaming, recording and hybrid production workflows.
Venue Support
